Edgan hooked me up about 30 minutes after i made the post.

BTW, freevo is a nice media player; its' python scripts are piggy-- be
sure to have a nice fast processor and gobs of ram.

Though the player is working on a 333mhz celeron with 128Mb RAM with few
hassles.

...now to get the tv guide part working...
