My impression is that Sun is still a sucky company, attached to their
proprietary Unix, and other proprietary ways.

There is also talk about people leaving the company.  Not a good sign.

I dunno.  I think it's more along the lines of "Hey dude, you had your
chance to join our club that is making money, and now look at what's
happening to you."

Also painting ESR as some sort of Bishop in the Church of RMS is very
misleading, and untrue.
