At the last meeting, the subject of the net install Debian sarge
distro came up. To answer Todd's question, the installer is much
more streamlined than the standard Deb 3.0 installer, and my
system is much as it was running testing/unstable before.

However, since bringing my system back up, I've had trouble
getting gtk+ 1.2 apps to use anti-aliased fonts. gtk2/glib2 and
qt3 apps work fine, rendering beautiful, anti-aliased fonts.

This isn't a critical problem, of course, but these are looking
ugly, and there are several very important apps that don't use
gtk2 yet: xmms, galeon, etc.

Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone else ran into
this and, if so, how they solved it.

TIA,
Tim Hammerquist
