I think that LTSP would be a good possibility, but if the existing
machines have enough disk and hardware then an on-disk install would be
better. If we are stuck with PIIs and one PIII, then LTSP is the only
way to go.

I don't think performance is a big deal to these guys, they just want to
click and have their spreadsheet or web browser open with out waiting
very long.

I guess it is up to who ever may be baby sitting these machines in the
future...

(what about Knoppix? or LNX-BBC?)
