Sure, for basic firewall needs. When I first install, I let redhat
create a simple recipe in that file, and then I hand edit it to suit my
needs. The file has warnings that say you shouldn't do it, because the
file will be overwritten if you use their GUI tool. However, the GUI
tool is pretty useless, so that is not a problem for me :-)
