Hi Dennis,

FWIW, I'd recommend using the rpm from SuSE. They are usually available within a day or so of each release.

I've been running an older version of Firefox on my SuSE box and decided to upgrade to version 1.x.

I downloaded firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz then ran tar -xzvf firefox-1.0.installer.tar.gz

It unzipped etc just fine. I switched to root and within the firefox-installer directory I ran

./firefox-installer

and got the following output:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Invalid XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 key (failed key comparison) (firefox-installer-bin:5787): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

??? Anybody??? Can you help me understand what is going on here and how to fix it?

Thanks

Dennis
