When people living in Seattle ask me where to get their DSL from I always tell them Speakeasy, even though their prices are relatively high, and I give a long list of reasons. At the top of that list is the *excellent* customer service and the culture of open communication inspired by the company's owners (and ex-CEO). That company kicks ass, and from your willingness to speak candidly about your company on this Linux list, I'd guess your company does also. Unfortunately, the price quoted by pyramid.com for basic DSL *with* a static IP is incredibly cheap. I still have more research to do, so I haven't made a decision yet. My sister's a real penny pincher when it comes to her business though, so the cost of a hookup is a big deal. She might be willing to go with dialup *shudder*, which, to tell the truth, could very well be sufficient for the task at hand. A dynamic IP could also work ... as I could simply innitiate the vpn from the cart location ... but I'm feeling more than a little conservative about making sure this system works correctly, and that I can fix it quickly when it breaks. Anyway... Thanks for the input fellas! I'll take a second look at Great Basin. - Ben _______________________________________________ RLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rlug.org/mailman/listinfo/rlug
