Piece of cake... Just download the fedora-release RPM from the version you want to upgrade to (in this case from Fedora Core 4) and use "yum upgrade." I've had no problem on machines and gone from RH9 up to Fedora Core 3, one release at a time of course. Make sure you add any excludes you may have that you don't want upgraded (e.g. kernel)
