Hi Sebastian... Unfortunately, I'll miss this month's meeting. I'll be out of town. I was really looking forward to the kick-off of the Linux productivity series for beginners. So, where will I be? I'm part of the pit crew for a Motorcycle Land Speed Record attempt. I think after six years of trying, he'll do it this time. The motorcycle streamliner is running a pair of supercharged Vincent engines burning alcohol. The engines are a 1948 and a 1952 model. Calculations indicate the top speed should be about 100 mph faster than the existing world's unlimited motorcycle speed record of about 325 mph set by another two wheeled streamliner a few years ago. By the way, I own a 1952 Vincent Black Shadow and a 1948 Vincent Rapide along with a few other motorcycles.
