Hello: I have gotten a hold of several Knoppix distros and the O'Reily book on Knoppix. It all seems pretty cool but I haven't been able to figure out how to save files anywhere. It doesn't seem that there would be a copy of Open Office or the Gimp in the distribution if all work were ephemeral and lost on logging off. Got me stumped. Tried finding something in the Knoppix Hacks book but I didn't get it. Seem to have buggared up a memory stick in the process as well.
