Orrin, et al.,

Parking was a big issue this meeting. I'm going to work on alternative parking arrangements at the University. Meanwhile, keep you eyes open for a meeting location.

I'll also contact Jeff Elprin at Open Source Nevada, and see if he has any contacts that may be able to assist us.

Dear RLUG members,

I made an attempt to get to the 8 September meeting, but it turns
out that those areas designated as 'free parking' nearby on College
Drive are not free! They either require a permit, or they are
marked as 30 minute parking. (There were no empty spaces anyway).
Anything farther than that area is out of the question for someone
my age (70+).

The last LUG I belonged to (LILUG) also met at a local university,
but the school allotted a block of free parking spaces for the
group on the nights of their meetings.

Until a meeting place is found that has adequate near-by parking
(without the hassle of getting/buying permits), I will no longer
attend RLUG meetings. It was fun while it lasted.
