I've been using Ubuntu Breezy for over two week. The test version is now
out on CD. I'm extremely pleased with the results. For those of you who
follow Ubuntu, the link for the new download, which is pre-final (final
will come out in Oct.) is:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/5.10/ubuntu-5.10-preview-install-i386.iso
I am having absolutely no problems with it. It has Gnome 2.12, which is
packed with new improvements. You can add Kubuntu and have KDE 4.2. And
it uses Evolution 2.4, xserver- 6.8.2.61. Everything it's fast and
there's a new boot screen.
Having worked Suse 10.0 through its new cycles, Ubuntu does, with one
disk and it's repositories, more, better than Suse, with five discs.
Ordinarily, I don't use Ubuntu as my main system, but this is changing
my mind.
I hope it's okay to send information like this.
