This is stupid of me, but I didn't realize Knoppix has apt-get. (I know
*haha* look at the idiot).
I'm using Knoppix to bootstrap Gentoo on my server (there are issues with
the ATA driver in the Gentoo LiveCD kernel). I wanted to use LVM2, but
the utilities aren't on the disk. So...
# apt-get update; apt-get install lvm-common lvm2
and I'm able to continue the install. Knoppix++
