Haha "pros". A lot of the way that I do things is derived from practice. Anecdote: I know of a person on this list (who shall remain nameless) who at the time was stuck living in Las Vegas, and wanted to learn Linux for fun/a better job. We went to Comdex and harassed all of the Linux vendors, and he carted off copies of just about every distro under the sun at the time. For the next 6 months he installed a distribution tweaked it out until it was broken, figured out how to fix the brokeness, and then went on to the next distribution. He's now one of the most creative Linux admins I know. -- Sam Phillips <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.dasbistro.com/~sam/ San Francisco California _______________________________________________ RLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rlug.org/mailman/listinfo/rlug
