Brian,
Once again, I'd like to know more about this, so I can completely ween
my wife from Windows, something I've been unable to do because of a few
games she loves to play all the time. Help me break this wicked hold on
her and I'll be eternally indebted to you.

Hello all,
I would like to offer "Gaming on Linux" as a suggested meeting
topic/presentation, and I volunteer to present it.
For many users the idea of losing the ability to play their favorite
time-killers is a major pain point when they are considering a move to
Linux, and even more folks maintain a dual-boot system to cover this need.
There are other ways, though, which can allow one to live purely in
Linux and have their games, too.
If there is interest in this topic I think it would be great if it could
fit into the November meeting. This may give some folks the info they
need to help them decide on some Commercemas - I mean Christmas -
shopping and/or gift requests.
