If that doesn't work I have a PCMCIA 10/100 LAN card I'm not using at present. Waiting to be able to afford a new keyboard for my old 233Mhz Toshiba. So you could borrow it. It uses standard drivers. I think it was ne2k. But it'll get you online so that you can install tarballs etc.. I did have a USB ethernet adapter in 2003 that worked out of box with Linux. I can't recall the name offhand. http://stores.tomshardware.com/rating_getprodrev.php/product_id=584328/id_type=M// peace, core -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDV90CGAuLrxOyeJMRApYPAJ4s31iqFbPqEEc/zuDnFXfkWReKDQCfQd+F jrySKABAkTKWEAd70I1kqNE= =00Tq -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ RLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rlug.org/mailman/listinfo/rlug
