I've been out of the loop with respect to cable/satellite channel G4. When they switched it to LA as the base and destroyed most of (what I considered) the good shows - I pretty much stopped watching.
Over the holidays, I was up very early one morning feeling a bit imsomniac and lo and behold discovered that G4 has been broadcasting Call For Help again with Leo Laporte at 6AM M-F. Subsequent research revealed he has been back since the tail end of August!!! The format of the show is more like the old Screen Savers AND it's actually based in Canada, so most of the calls are from Canadians. So if you didn't know about this and were a fan of the Screen Savers - IT'S BAAAAck! Secondary note: on a show last week, Leo was helping a fellow who had a (M$) system that was severely infected. He made the comment near the end of that segment of the show that he thought "Windows should be banned from home use," because " it's basically an insecure system." He said that Windows is probably alright in the workplace where you have "an entire IT department to manage it..." and maintain proper firewalls and other security. He also stated that most home users would be better served to use another OS such as Linus or Mac OS X. Just thought I'd share.
