I don't understand the utility of this keyboard either. it seems like
the only pluses the good looks and programmability. not worth the price
tag.

about switching back and forth... I use a keyboard that I had a very
hard time getting used to. It is based on qwerty but has an unusual
layout. It took me about a week before I could be very productive with
it. Knowing that I would have to use a more standard keyboard from time
to time concerned me when I first switched. I found I have no trouble
whatsoever switching between this keyboard and others though. I do wish
I could easily take it with me everywhere because it's so comfortable,
but my productivity doesn't suffer when I have to use a typical layout.

I wonder if I would be able to switch back and forth from Dvorak. I've
never met anyone who used one regularly, so I haven't been able to ask.
I have a feeling though that switching back and forth is probably less
trouble than you would imagine.
