I certainly appreciate the offer but no, the vast majority of these outages are on circuits in developing countries.  I don't know if it's sun spots or swamp gasses or what, but for some reason the last 10 days or so has seen a much higher than normal number of outages.  The sometimes convoluted and tenuous relationships that we all have with 2nd and 3rd world ISPs does not make things any easier.

Combine this with our typical end-of-quarter financial dealings and an unexpected flurry of sales activity in Europe and it's a wild ride to keep everything going smoothly.

This extra on-call rotation expires for me tomorrow evening, so at least I don't have to ride the bull for two weekends in a row. :)
