(As in one that fixes the problem)
So here it is again in a different approach:
Running Evolution 2.4.1 on Ubuntu Breezy
Recently lost ability to add or edit contacts, have not found any solution so far.
For grins decided to run Evo from a terminal and got the following messages:
adding hook target 'source'
(evolution:12201): camel-WARNING **: camel_exception_get_id called with NULL par ameter.
(evolution:12201): camel-WARNING **: camel_exception_get_id called with NULL par ameter.
(evolution:12201): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_gc_set_foreground: assertion `GDK_IS_GC (gc)' failed
What can I do to fix these errors and if I do should that also cure the edit contact problem?
It seems to me the Gdk-CRITICAL one may be a little important - but.....
