Did you only send the meeting announement to the rlug-announce list? Maybe some people aren't on both lists, so it might be worthwhile to send it to both. If people get 2 messages, well, then, that's why they invented the delete button.

Here's my understanding of what BEA does anyway: They'll build custom Java apps for your company based on their development suites. Apparently they'll also, optionally, host the application on their servers.
