yes. regular ISO cd (or dvd) will play in it. if you insert it you'll get a dir list, can maneuver up and down with arrow keys, and play the selected file, and, while it's playing, do the usual operations (ffwd, pause and so on) just like with a "real" movie ;) Or should I say authorized ... lol Just make sure you get one of these advanced players, obviously not all brands/models can do that.
