Dear all,

this is to let you know that I am starting to integrate the Eclipse RMF core
with Eclipse Sphinx.
This integration will allow RMF to benefit from great features that are already
implemented in Sphinx.
Examples are:
* Parallel editing of the same model from multiple editors without save and
reload
* on-the-fly conversion of models during load (simplifies support for multiple
versions/revision of RIF/ReqIF metamodels)
* ScopingResourceSet that allows e.g. to combine an overall model from ReqIF
files located in different Eclipse projects.

Please note, that this will add a plugin dependency from RMF to Sphinx.
However, it will still be possible to run the core (read/write of reqif models)
as a standalone Java application.

kind regards

Mark
