Dear all, this is to let you know that I am starting to integrate the Eclipse RMF core with Eclipse Sphinx. This integration will allow RMF to benefit from great features that are already implemented in Sphinx. Examples are: * Parallel editing of the same model from multiple editors without save and reload * on-the-fly conversion of models during load (simplifies support for multiple versions/revision of RIF/ReqIF metamodels) * ScopingResourceSet that allows e.g. to combine an overall model from ReqIF files located in different Eclipse projects.
Please note, that this will add a plugin dependency from RMF to Sphinx. However, it will still be possible to run the core (read/write of reqif models) as a standalone Java application. kind regards Mark [1] http://eclipse.org/sphinx/ [2] http://wiki.eclipse.org/Sphinx/tutorials -- Mark Brörkens Softwarearchitekt, Projekt- und Produktmanager http://www.itemis.de mark.broerk...@itemis.de https://www.xing.com/profile/mark_broerkens http://twitter.com/MarkBroerkens itemis AG Niederlassung Berlin Ohlauer Straße 43 10999 Berlin Rechtlicher Hinweis: Amtsgericht Dortmund, HRB 20621 Vorstand: Jens Wagener (Vors.), Wolfgang Neuhaus, Dr. Georg Pietrek, Jens Trompeter, Sebastian Neus Aufsichtsrat: Dr. Burkhard Igel (Vors.), Stephan Grollmann, Michael Neuhaus
