To be honest, the version of xvif that I publish at
http://downloads.xmlschemata.org/python/xvif/ is more a proof of
concept(s) than something to use in production.
It includes:
* A partial implementation of RNG that I have written to get a
better understanding of RELAX NG when I have written my book.
* A reference implementation for a proposal that I have made to
the ISO/DSDL working group
(http://downloads.xmlschemata.org/python/xvif/xvif.html). While
I am still thinking that this is an interesting path to follow,
this proposal requires a modification of the existing
implementation and has been rejected for that reason from DSDL
Part 10 - validation management.
To use that library, you can take the various test suites (tst_xxx.py)
as examples.
Note that xvif has been integrated to 4Suite by Uche Ogbuji and this
version is probably more stable than mine.
