problems. In my app, when I call JARV compileSchema on dbforms.rng, I
get a StackOverflowError very quickly. OTOH, when using the
jarv.JARVDemo demo tool, the validator does not crash, but finishing
validating a document of less than 50 KB (Tim Bray's Atom
feed--obviously not valid DocBook NG) takes something like 15 to 30
minutes on my puny 533 MHz G4.
Jing validates very swiftly with the same input.
Is this a known problem? I am using msv-20050720. Is there a recent
known-good version? I also tried the release from February 2003, but
that did not work properly, either. I intend to allow remote execution,
so this kind of issue looks rather alarming.
