I'm currently bitten by what seems to be a bug in libxml2. Emacs'
nxml-mode accepts my XML files but libxml2 claims:

doc-by-syslog-NOT-YET.entry_xml:36: element p: Relax-NG validity error
: Expecting an element got text
Relax-NG validity error : Extra element text in interleave
doc-by-syslog-NOT-YET.entry_xml:36: element p: Relax-NG validity error
: Element p failed to validate content
Relax-NG validity error : Extra element p in interleave
doc-by-syslog-NOT-YET.entry_xml:36: element p: Relax-NG validity error
: Element content failed to validate content
doc-by-syslog-NOT-YET.entry_xml fails to validate

I didn't test with jing yet (no Java here) but it really looks like
this bug:

http://mail.gnome.org/archives/xml/2004-May/msg00156.html

Can anyone confirm/infirm that it is still open?
