Hi all,
is there any reason why <div> isn't allowed everywhere in RelaxNG?
The simplification rule for it (just replace it with its children)
would seem to imply that it would be a trivial change that might Just
Work in implementation should they simply not check that it's only
occurring where expected (in fact libxml appears to allow it
anywhere). It's a nifty little element, which I use in several
specifications so that specific snippets of the schema can easily be
pointed to and extracted for inclusion in the prose — the ability to
link to any construct would be nice to have (we've worked around this
so far, but it's less elegant). Could this be part of an upcoming
corrigendum, assuming any are planned?
Also, while I'm here, I'd like to point out that the "mailing list"
link on relaxng.org website still points to the old list, which I
believe confuses some users.
