(apologies for posting this to rng-users, just want to try to reach all users -- plus maybe list members might be interested in knowing of a stax parser that does do RNG validation amongst other things)
Since Woodstox (http://woodstox.codehaus.org) has had pluggable support for RelaxNG validation for a while now (was included in all 3.x releases, and latest 2.9.x as well), I was wondering if anyone is actually using it. I assume not many do, given that there are no bug reports? :-) I guess it's also possible that it is being used, but due to robustness of the underlying validator enginer(Sun MSV) it "just works". So, is anyone using it? (or has used, tried to use etc). If so, I would like to know about your experiences, to ensure smooth operation, and/or improve upon way things work. I really would like to do my own little part in ensuring that developers are aware of RNG, given its superiority as validation schema language, compared to w3c schema (schema has its uses as data typing system, for data binding etc). Also, such feedback could help in adding support for the other major schema validation language in future (since MSV can validate w3c schemas as well -- woodstox has had basic dtd validation since version 2.0). -+ Tatu +- ____________________________________________________________________________________ Need a vacation?
