How are you scanning the filesystem? Can you provide us the command
line options you are passing? It sounds like you are performing a full
filesystem scan and not using some sort of daemon mode.

This is odd. What version of RBH are you running? Do you have any
external mounts within home that go to another filesystem?

Consider adding:
  stay_in_fs = TRUE ;
to your configuration file.

It sounds like an issue with your MySQL server. Have you done any sort
of tunning for the MySQL server? I highly suggest the two items:

1) Run mysqltuner.pl and follow the recommendations it produces:

   wget mysqltuner.pl -O mysqltuner.pl
   perl mysqltuner.pl

2) Follow what Thomas wrote earlier on the Pipeline and how to
identify bottle necks.
