Hello,

while testing our XtreemStore parallel data mover with Robinhood, i
found out the lhsm removals don't work. Having a quick look into the rbh
and Lustre sources revealed that there might be a bug. Robinhood always
sends the HUA_REMOVE with archive_id=0, which isn't forwarded to my
copytool registered for archive_id=1 (the PDM). If i register the
copytool with archive ID 0 in the list, it is registered for any archive
ID, which also is not what i want.

lfs hsm_remove uses the archive ID from the archived file, so this
removal request works fine.

Could you please shed some light on what behavior is expected? I could
imagine two situations:
- Lustre should forward requests for archive ID 0 to all agents, but
doesn't (or the client side HSM API filters them)
- Robinhood should use the last known archive ID of the file for the request

For consistency, the second option would make more sense as with correct
use, it should not be necessary to broadcast a deletion to all archives
- the the file should only exist in one archive, right?

Thanks for the info and best regards
