Hello,

Fileclass are matched at the following occasions:
- when an entry is scanned
- when robinhood process a changelog record about an entry
- when the entry is updated prior to policy rule application

So if you create new fileclasses or change the fileclass definitions, you should do one of the following operation to rematch them: - run a scan of the filesystem to match old entries. All new entries will then be matched when processing changelogs.
- define and run an update policy like this:

define_policy update {
    default_action = common.log;
    scope { type == file }
    status_manager = none;
    default_lru_sort_attr = none;
}

robinhood --run=update --target=all --once
