Hi Mark, Unfortunately I don't have the answer to your question, and judging by the silence on the mailing list, I would say not a lot of people have experience running robinhood with LVM.
On the other hand, depending on your use case, I suggest you check out robinhood v4 [0] which my efforts are entirely focused on. [0] https://github.com/cea-hpc/robinhood/tree/v4 Do note that the project is still a work in progress, which means you might encounter the odd bug here and there. At the same time, nothing in that version performs any destructive operation by itself, so there no reason to fear giving it at least a try. If you choose to do so, I am confident I can help you get set up and answer most of your questions.
