New issue 354 by [email protected]: OperatingSystem.Set Environment Variable should accept numeric types
http://code.google.com/p/robotframework/issues/detail?id=354 Found with Robot Framework 2.1 (Python 2.6 on linux2). Library keyword "Set Environment Variable" fails, if type of value to be set is not string, see attached example. Explicit conversion with "Convert To String" is clumsy and makes testcases unnecessarily complicated. I suggest to include type conversion in "Set Environment Variable" itself.
