The patch by Régis attached to issue 434 fixed the easy_install problem
with Python
2.6 at least on Ubuntu. I'm pretty sure that the patch also fixes this
easy_install +
virtualenv issue, but I don't have an environment to verify that. I'll
anyway close
this issue as a dupe to issue 434 now. It would be great if someone had a
change to
test the fix.
Notice also that in the next major RF version the installation scheme will
be
somewhat different because we don't need to support Jython 2.2 which didn't
have even
distutils anymore.
