Hi Janne,
thanks for adressing this. Could you please comment on:
* why the receipe (http://code.activestate.com/recipes/466341/) was not
taken into
use, when at first it was considered useful?
* for example the use of str in __init__.py that I mentioned in the
discussion was
not changed? Either it has not shown up in your grep or you have not
considered it
unsafe - in both cases I'd like to understand why.
