This isn't the first time this functionality is asked and previously we've
decided
not to implement it because a) you shouldn't in general have tests that
require so
much logic, b) when logic is needed it should be in test libraries, c) we
try not to
make RF test data syntax a real programming language, and d) there are
workarounds.
This was first requested in issue 174 and interestingly the last one was
issue 495
which interestingly was the one right before this one.
Since there seems to be so much need for this keyword, implementing it
ought to be
relatively easy, and the last request come from NSN we need to reconsider
the
decision. Could you Gerhard contact us via the NSN internal mailing list
and explain
your use case in more detail? If there's no good other solution to your
problem, we
can probably add this to RF 2.5 scope.
