General Comment:
This is pretty annoying. Could you search/test does Mercurial have the same
problem? We've been planning to switch also the core framework to use it at
some point anyway.
The biggest problem with Hg is that it doesn't currently handle EOL
differences between Windows and other platforms as well as Subversion. We
need to investigate what's the status of that problem and then decide which
VCS works best in our multi-platform environment.
