The version is got from the library itself: http://robotframework.googlecode.com/svn/tags/robotframework-2.5.3/doc/userguide/RobotFrameworkUserGuide.html#specifying-library-versionHaving an additional libdoc.py option to specify the version would be possible too but I'm not sure is it really needed.
