That may be the case. I've never used any of those tools and just saw the open fail and point to a weird location. It makes since to not use the absolute path in most situations. I'm not sure what you can do in javascript, but if you can try to open the relative path and it fails try opening the absolute path instead? Otherwise this ticket can be disregarded.
