We haven't heard about problems with Win 7 installations lately. My guess
is that the earlier problems have been resolved because we simplified
installation system in RF 2.7. Possibly also Python itself and its
installation infrastructure has been enhanced.
Closing this issue as done. If there are still problems with Win 7, please
submit new issues about those specific issues.
