Do you mean the test execution side, i.e. the interpreter you use for
executing run_atests.py, or the test data side? The former requires CPython
2.6 by design, although that may not be documented too clearly. It should
definitely be possible to run actual tests on the test data side using any
supported Python interpreter (incl. Jython 2.5).
