Janne,
As for your question about the 5s timeout between SIGTERM and SIGKILL. This
will take effect only if the application does not terminate within timeout
as expected and afterwards does not even terminate on SIGTERM within 5s. I
don't share any sympathy with such processes and this should not be the
regular case terminating a process, 5s sounds fair enough before emitting
the brute force SIGKILL.
