Reproduced. Most likely caused by fixes related to issue 1511. The reason
this issue slipped through is that we don't have tests for dry-run with
Java libraries. Definitely need to add them too.
I already looked at the code and it seems that fixing this issue is easy.
How crucial fixing this is for you? I'd like to wait a little to see are
there other regressions in 2.8.2, and in the meantime we could perhaps also
include Java library related enhancements in issue 1583 and issue 1586.
