New issue 1604 by franka...@gmail.com: Unable to launch Internet Explorer
after robot framework update
http://code.google.com/p/robotframework/issues/detail?id=1604
While launching Internet Explorer receiving an error message
stating "error: [Errno 10053] An established connection was aborted by the
software in your host machine" in RIDE.
I had recently updated Robot Framework / Ride, Selenium2Library to the
latest version. The issue started appearing after the upgrade.
Steps to reproduce -
1. Write a script to open internet explorer to www.google.com
2. Observe the internet explorer gets invoked but keeps on displaying the
screen "This is the initial start page for the WebDriver server."
RIDE displays an error message stating "error: [Errno 10053] An established
connection was aborted by the software in your host machine"
Hence unable to proceed with automation scripts for internet explorer.
Operating System : Win7
Internet Explorer Version : IE 9.0
