Comment #6 on issue 1647 by ws.dumbl...@smartwizardschool.com: one instance
of </ Left"> instead of </script> in output.xml
http://code.google.com/p/robotframework/issues/detail?id=1647
... A1 (cont): so to answer your question: it happens rarely within
different parts of the same keyword which is called VERY often. Over the
course of a complete set of test runs, it happens multiple times, of which
we only notice the first instance without further investigation.
Q2: Does it happen also with Python or only with Jython?
A2: Its really not feasible for us to test running everything with python
due to heavy java dependencies. ie: our run script imports jar files, java
library imports, and various execute javascript calls within test code. The
more dependencies i try to workaround, the more errors that come up during
runtime.
Q3: Can you create a standalone example that reproduces the problem?
A3: It seems very doubtful considering how often the corruption occurs as a
fraction of how often that keyword gets called. Typically its about 150000
lines of output.xml before the first error, and thats without knowing if
that file was the first to be parsed. That keyword was called 20+ times
within a small fraction of the whole output.xml.
