This ought to be done. Because Send Signal To Process default functionality
didn't change, I don't consider changes backwards-incompatible. Terminating
also child process and processes running in shell is a bug fix and
shouldn't harm anyone.
I was thinking is this medium or high priority, but decided to keep high.
Leaving orphaned processes to the system is pretty severe.
