This request is nearly two years old. Any chance we're going to see a
resolution any time soon? While I see value in merging loggers and
listeners as mentioned in Pekka's last response, that seems like a massive
undertaking when all I really want is to be able to silence the default
output.
I don't want to redirect to /dev/null since I may have a listener that
prints some information out. I simply want a -q (quiet) switch, or perhaps
a switch to have the internal logger write to a file instead of stdout.
Should I open a separate issue for that, so that this one can stay open for
the more comprehensive solution?
