I agree date-driven tests could be shown much better in testdoc output
files and also in normal log files. Showing column headers would be nice,
and perhaps we should also consider showing the used template keyword just
once in general test information and not as normal keyword.
Notice that logs and testdocs contain lot of same code. It would thus be
easier to implement these enhancements to both of them. Unfortunately
implementing this would be somewhat big task because it would require
changes to how data-driven tests are logged in general and how results are
represented in output.xml.
Because implementing this would be rather big task, the core development
team cannot do it unless our main corporate sponsor requests this, someone
else is interested in sponsoring this particular feature, or somebody is
willing to implement this. In the latest case we obviously would be willing
to help.
