#354: autoprj_bootstrap does not work on Manjaro (Archlinux variant)
----------------------------------------+----------------------------------

Priority: normal | Status: new
Component: toolchain | Milestone:
Keywords: autoproj archlinux manjaro | Resolution:

Comment (by traveler.hauptman):
Tried to bootstrap today after not looking at rock for a while.
arch/manjaro use ruby21 now. Added ruby21: ignore to autoproj_bootstrap to
get it to run.
(these errors are resolved below)
An error message pops up at the end of installing os dependencies..
{{{
Can't exec "dpkg": No such file or directory at
/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Dpkg/Arch.pm line 62.
dpkg-architecture: error: dpkg --print-architecture failed: No such file
or directory
}}}
autoproj build fails with:
{{{
checked out git:git://gitorious.org/rock-base/package_set.git
[email protected]:/rock-base/package_set.git
init.rb(package_set=rock.base):30: unknown options 'http_url'
in /home/teh/rock/autoproj/remotes/rock.base/init.rb:30:in `<top
(required)>'
}}}
...but after a bit of investigation it looks like env.sh decided to use an
old autoproj from my ~/tmp dir for RUBYLIB. Weird since I can't find
anything in my environment that would help it find that...
...and now the build dies on a missing osdeps.
No more time to work on this.
