Hi, I moved it to my account to do the changes.
While trying to separate 1 and 2 i recognized that the init.rb whould have to move to rock-core/package_set (to set up the ros transport). This way, every rock user would be askes about the ros installation folder. I guess this is rather confusing when installing rock. I think it is better to leave all in the ros-package_set. Can someone create and empty repo "rock-core/ros-package_set"? I'll create a PR then so we can discuss details in the PR.
